One of the most useful function of my Apple iPad 2 is watching movie on any situation, any places and any time. Beside watching online movie stream, I am also converting some movies and stored into my iPad 2.There are tons of search results from the internet that teaching people the methods on how to convert the movie file to iPad 2 format and the method on How to watch movie on iPad 2. Here I’m gonna to share with you my method to do so.
Before we start, let’s learn some basic movie format supported by iPad 2.
- H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second - Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps
- 48kHz, stereo audio
File format : .mv4 , .mp4 and .mov
- MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, - Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel,
- 48kHz, stereo audio
File format : .mv4 , .mp4 and .mov
- Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, - Audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio
File format : .avi

I have choose the Normal Quality with 640×480 MPEG4 output format only. The software occupied 70% of CPU usage during the conversion. |
